November, 1995
The Section met on November 21, 1995 at the Civil Engineering
Department of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Vice-president
Julian Ng presented the Student Chapter with a check for $100
in support of their activities. He also presented certificates
of appreciation to the outgoing Student Chapter officers Sharen
Cho, president; Kevin McMorrow, vice president; Ping Ongayo,
secretary; and Cathy Koga, treasurer. The students are planning
to conduct a trip generation rate study for major shopping
centers. The group was treated to a hands-on demonstration
of the World Wide Web by Constantinos Papacostas, last year's
Section Director. Ben Yoshino, the College of Engineering
Webmaster arranged for the use of one of the computer labs
for this purpose.

September, 1995
The Section met on Tuesday, September 19, 1995 at the Flamingo
Chuckwagon in Honolulu. State DOT Airports Administrator Owen
Miyamoto was the featured guest speaker. He discussed the
Division's plans relating to the Statewide System of Airports.
At the same meeting, last year's Section President Robert
Miyasaki was presented a certificate of appreciation from
ITE District 6 for his dedication to ITE.

August, 1995
The Executive Council met on Wednesday, August 30, 1995.
At that meeting, it was decided to hold ITE Section Meetings
every other month, beginning with September, 1995.
